The new Ferrari model

Like all Ferrari models, the Ferrari LaFerrari’s design is a model of aerodynamic. Four types of carbon fiber give its chassis both rigidity and lightweight. This material is cured and hand-laminated with the same techniques as the F1 machines. The hood of the Ferrari LaFerrari hosts a 6.3-liter V-12 internal combustion engine developing 789-hp, paired with an electric motor of 161 hp (120kW). Coupled with Ferrari’s F1 dual-clutch gearbox, this engine realizes a maximum speed of 217 mph. It also goes from 0 to 62 mph in only 3 seconds, and a sprint of 0-124 mph in 7 seconds. A HY-KERS system developed alongside Ferrari’s Formula 1 racing also equips the Ferrari LaFerrari.
