3 must see cities in Sweden
Le 17 août 2016 .STOCKHOLM
The official capital of Scandinavia is the perfect starting point. Whether you are looking to take in some museums or enjoy a dinner in Gamla Stan (the old town) there are options for you. Take the time to visit the famous Vasa Museum which is dedicated to a giant Viking ship then never even left the port. If history isn’t your thing, head over to the Swedish pop museum and enjoy the sounds of Abba. If you happen to be traveling with kids or are just young at heart stop by Junibacken and enjoy the works of writer Astrid Lingren. Best known for Pippi Longstocking.
GOTHENBERG
The second largest city in Sweden is only a few hours’ drive from the capital. You can enjoy the scenic route before arriving in this beautiful canal lined city. Gothenberg may not be as big as Stockholm, but it has a unique feel and a gorgeous Archipelago to explore. Take a day trip to one of the many islands or spend a day in the famous amusement park Liseberg.
MALMO
At the very end tip of Sweden is the third largest city in the country. Very close to Copenhagen and only a two and a half hour drive from Gothenberg. The contemporary city is home to some of Sweden’s tallest buildings and wonderful parks. Rent a bike when in the city and spend some time taking in all the sites. If you’re feeling adventurous take the newly built bridge, Oresund, to Copenhagen and spend a day in Denmark.
There is no better way to explore a country then by a car. You can take your time and make stops along the way. No one else’s schedule to follow. However, in the event you want to discover another mesmerizing place, you can check out this website http://thepassportchronicles.com as she will give you more information about her travel all over the world.
