Top 5 Tips on Getting Married Abroad
Le 6 avril 2016 .Find here 5 tips you should coinsider
1) Make sure that the destination means something to you as a couple. Did you get engaged there? Or a first special holiday? Or perhaps it is somewhere you've both always wanted to visit.
2) Once you have picked your destination make sure you have researched the right time of year to have your wedding there. You certainly don't want to arrive to find that it is hurricane season. Also, on the other hand, having your guests sit in 40 degree heat is not a pleasant experience either! Take into consideration what time of year will be most convenient for your guests. Remember prices shoot up in peak season and school holidays, and so perhaps try avoiding the most expensive periods.
3) Why not host a lunch or dinner event the day before your wedding? It is a great opportunity for people to get to know each other better before the big event.
4) No matter where you get married, your special day will pass so quickly. Make sure you both step back and enjoy some alone time together. Perhaps a stroll on the beach or share a quiet moment watching your guests enjoying themselves. These are the moments that you will cherish for the rest of your life.
5) Organise a get-together for everyone once you are back home in the UK. However, for those who weren't lucky enough to join you abroad, a party is the perfect place to catch up with everyone you know, celebrate your wedding event and relive the magic of your wedding abroad.
